Bismillah,

Wisdom is granted, not earned.

Wisdom is the greatest blessing!

Granted by Allah (SWT).

A sign of a wise person is their level of gratitude to Allah (SWT).

Today, we explore the remarkable life of Prophet Sulaiman (AS), known for his unparalleled wisdom and divine blessings bestowed upon him by Allah (SWT).

Background:

Prophet Sulaiman (AS), also known as Solomon, was chosen by Allah as a prophet and king, succeeding his father, Prophet Dawud (AS).

Sulaiman (AS) was blessed with exceptional wisdom, knowledge of languages, and the ability to communicate with animals and jinn.

These divine blessings affirmed his prophethood and served as a testament to Allah’s greatness.

Wisdom and Blessings

Prophet Sulaiman (AS) demonstrated unparalleled wisdom and judgment in resolving disputes and governing his kingdom.

His reign was marked by prosperity, peace, and harmony, reflecting the principles of divine governance.

Legacy

Sulaiman (AS) asked Allah (SWT)-

“He prayed, “My Lord! Forgive me, and grant me an authority that will never be matched by anyone after me. You are indeed the Giver ˹of all bounties˺.” (Surah Sad V 35)

Sulaiman (AS) dua was accepted and till this day His kingdom’s greatness is unmatched.

This demonstrates to us the power implementing wisdom in dua.

Application Today

Wisdom = Gratitude = More blessings

This is the formula!

We must use wisdom to be grateful in order to receive more blessings.

We must continue to ask Allah (SWT) without limit.

Just Like Sulaiman (AS) asked Allah for the greatest Kingdom ever, Allah (SWT) can make your wishes come true.

All it takes is asking.

May we emulate his virtues in our own lives, striving to uphold wisdom from our blessings and demonstrating gratitude to Allah (SWT).

Ameen!

So Solomon smiled in amusement at her words, and prayed, “My Lord! Inspire me to ˹always˺ be thankful for Your favours which You have blessed me and my parents with, and to do good deeds that please you. Admit me, by Your mercy, into ˹the company of˺ Your righteous servants.”
