Idris (AS), also known as Enoch, is regarded as the second prophet of Islam after Adam (AS).

Acclaimed as the first person to write and fight tyranny.

Prelude
Idris (AS) lived during a time of moral decline.
Qabil’s (Cain) followers had lost true guidance.
He grew up in a society rife with injustice but maintained steadfast faith in the Oneness of Allah (SWT)
Idris (AS) dedicated himself to seeking knowledge and righteousness, earning him the title “the Prophet of Knowledge.”
Prophethood & Knowledge
Idris (AS) received divine revelation and embarked on his prophetic mission, calling people to worship Allah alone and uphold moral values.
He emphasized the importance of knowledge, wisdom, and piety in achieving spiritual enlightenment and guidance.
Allah (SWT) ordered Idris (AS) to declare jihad against Qabil’s followers- making it the first Jihad.
Idris wa successful and led the progeny of Adam (AS) until his death.
Idris’s (AS) soul was taken by the Angel of Death in the fourth heaven- making Idris (AS) the only human to die outside the Universe.( Bukhari no. 7517 & Tirmidhi no.3157)

وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا
And mention in the Book ˹O Prophet, the story of˺ Enoch. He was surely a man of truth and a prophet.
