AL-Yasa (AS) was a descendent of the Prophet Yusuf (AS), making him a descendent of Ibrahim (AS).

Al-Yasa (AS), also known as Elisha in the Bible texts, was chosen by Allah (SWT) to guide his people and demonstrate the power of divine intervention.

He (AS) lived during a time of spiritual decline and moral corruption.

Prophethood:

Al-Yasa (AS) was entrusted with the task of calling his people to worship Allah (SWT) alone and abandon idolatry.

His mission emphasized the importance of faith, devotion, and obedience to divine commandments.

Prophet Al-Yasa (AS) performed miraculous acts such as healing the sick, purifying water, and multiplying food, all by the permission of Allah (SWT).

Al-Yasa (AS) had faith in Allah (SWT), and Allah (SWT) returned his faith with divine miracles.

Just like he performed miracles for Al-Yasa (AS).

We just need to have a little faith.

وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطًۭا ۚ وَكُلًّۭا فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

˹We also guided˺ Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot, favouring each over other people ˹of their time˺.
